Ex 2-2

Here is the link for this project. This assignment will take a great deal of outside help to gain a better understanding of light wood framing. There are many invaluable resources available in the library that you may use. There is a copy of Building Construction Illustrated available on reserve. This assignment is to be at least halfway completed by the next class period. We will finish the assignment as a class on Tuesday. Until then take the weekend to walk around and look at construction sites to see the details in the making. There is a wonderful example of this on Glenna Goodacre, by the Quaker Wal Mart.

RESEARCH PORTFOLIO PAGES

As I mentioned during tuesdays informal portfolio presentation, it is best to begin your portfolio pages now. On friday we will continue to discuss the progression of your model precedents, but I would also like to review the portfolios with each group. Have your chapters started so we can talk about your layout concept, information strategies, sequences and the overall content that you wish to include in your document. These DO NOT need to be printouts, we can discuss your work by looking at your inDesign files on the computers.

Make sure to be constantly collecting images/notes/drawings from all of your tests. Just like this guy.
