Check this page out Its the Community rowing boathouse for training and storing rowing boats. If not already, perhaps the Kayak people can get together for something like this.

Assignment link

some house keeping; many of you have not submitted the .fmz file for the last assignment. Once again this is due immediately, and should be submitted into your folder on the server.

Also on your personal blogs every student must post as least one image of their final analog model from assignment 3-1. This will be due by the beginning of class on thursday, oct 9th.

Aquacenter

I came across this during the first project for our concrete research and thought it was pretty neat. This is a competition design for the Aquacenter in Aalborg, Denmark by Christoff:Fino Architecture. After hearing about project 2 today, I thought this might be worth sharing with everyone. A reminder. We will be meeting on Friday in the courtyard at 1pm. We will go over the brief and have a discussion about how we are going to proceed for the rest of the semester. We will conclude the week and the first project by going to grab some food.

10 - printouts [choose the ten best pages from your portfolio and print them out in colour on 11x17] These will be pinned on the North wall of studio and will be moved into the hall on the 10th of October.

Upload your web portfolio to Scribd and place an imbedded link onto your BLOG. I will go through the PDF's this weekend and might ask for a few revisions next week before I assemble it into the complete document.

Make sure you leave all of your tests/models/sketches/trials on your desks this weekend.
